It’s not your fault if you tried to learn a new language and you failed.
The system isn’t set up correctly. And that’s the problem.
The truth is, scientists figured out how to teach you a foreign language years ago… way back in the 70s.
But their research was buried. So, we dug it up and did some testing of our own.
For example, did you know that you can learn a language faster if you prime your memory, first?
Studies have found that simply watching and listening to words that tell a story together BEFORE you attempt to learn what the words mean will improve your ability to recall them later.
So, we tried it. And guess what? They were right.
When we first built our language program three years ago, we tested the “memory priming” theory on more than 8,000 volunteers in a special, online language-learning trial. Half of the volunteers were given a short priming video. The other half received nothing before the trials started.
When we compared the results, the “primed” members correctly recalled 91% of the Spanish words they were asked to learn, in comparison to just 78% of the words our non-primed members recalled.
Pretty cool, huh?
